How we arrived at our current world view or belief system is actually a very serious issue. We did not arrive at it all alone, many forces influenced it. We invite you here to review how your current world view was formed.
Absorbed Beliefs
When we are very young there is so much for us to learn. In our early years we just trust those who are taking care of us because that is what all young children do. Later we also trust our school teachers, even though we called them idiots behind their backs, and the media, well some of the time.
When children ask the often dreaded question “Why?” most of the time, even if it is reluctantly, they just accept what they are told. Despite further questions and more inadequate answers they will still tend to just accept what they are told. In our early years we do not research and choose what we believe for ourselves we just absorb it from those around us. When we are given an explanation for something we are often not able to fully evaluate the underlying facts for ourselves. Unless we have good reason to doubt we usually just accept what authority figures tell us. But what happens if they are wrong as they occasionally are and we have been mislead?
As we grow older we start to judge things for ourselves and often modify our beliefs but usually our basic underlying belief system will tend to be that of authority figures around us. This is not a profound or subtle observation you can easily observe this for yourself because right now as it is going on in every culture around the world.
World Belief Systems
There are hundreds of different belief systems in the world. A few are almost compatible with each other but most have major differences. They cannot all be correct despite that each one thinks it is. So how do we know our belief system is the correct one? Does it matter? Most people in the world never examine the integrity of the fundamentals of their absorbed belief system for themselves without something seriously provoking them to do so.
Belief systems divide distinctly between spiritual and secular. The modern secular approach (there is no spiritual dimension to life) generally revolves around the belief that a cosmic big bang along with evolution are the major principles that formed the universe we see.
It may be strange for some to see secularism referred to as a belief system. However it is a belief system that assumes there is no God. Most secularists accept that science has proved there is no God. However to make this claim the formal and established scientific method needs to be applied to the secular theories. In doing so it becomes apparent there is substantial and clear evidence that contradict the secular theories. This evidence is just ignored or mocked by many secularists. Our objective here is to encourage you to judge this evidence for yourself as presented in this website.
Concerning spiritual belief systems it has been said that they are just different paths to the same source. This is a cute concept but many are blatantly incompatible with each other. If God exists whose God is the true one? How many gods are there? Is God a God of peace that would reconcile all men or does he want his followers to annihilate everyone who disagrees with them?

As all the belief systems cannot all be correct then there are obviously millions of people in the world following an incorrect belief system. Why has this happened and how do we know we are not one of them?
It is unsettling to be told that something you have believed all your life is not true. Our natural reaction is to defend what we have come to believe. There is a natural tendency to shy away from seriously reviewing if what we have believed is based on fact or fiction. Many when their belief system is queried are unable to discuss matters reasonably and are tempted to act in a superior manner or just unhelpfully mock those that try to discuss it with them. For many it takes something quite dramatic to make them consider whether something they thought was right is in fact wrong.
Blind Faith
As discussed above most of us have a belief system that we have just absorbed from our culture. Usually we will not have studied the basic facts and evidence for ourselves and drawn our own conclusions. Our beliefs in general have been based on the explanations and conclusions made by others. We often decide whether to trust or reject such explanations and conclusions based on the credibility of the source. For many interrelated reasons we are attracted to a belief system that makes us feel the most comfortable. This could be called blind faith. There is actually nothing intrinsically wrong with that as most learning out of necessity has to happen that way but what happens when our teachers are not correct. Would it not be wise to check out for ourselves whether our absorbed belief system is correct?
For example doctors, in many cultures around the world, since ancient times until only around 150 years ago commonly believed that it would help patients overcome certain illnesses by draining blood from the patient. We now know those doctors where seriously wrong but virtually the whole world believed this. Why?
The Scientific Method
Scientists have agreed a very simple method for working out explanations of observable facts and events. It is called the Scientific Method. In plain language the method is:

Observe a fact or event you wish to be explained.

Evaluate existing knowledge on the matter.
3
Develop a theory that could explain the fact or event.
4
Test theory with an experiment that has measurable results.
5
Evaluate results to see if the theory is proved right or wrong.
Before a theory can be declared a Scientific Law it has to be confirmed by analysing the data from repeatable experiments reproduced by several independent scientists. If no experiments based on the theory have been carried out and no data to confirm the theory has been produced, then it cannot be said that the theory has been proven scientifically.
If we try to use the Scientific Method to explain, where did the world come from, how old it is or how did plant and animal life begin, there are virtually no experiments we can perform that will have measurable results so you can prove scientifically the theories you may develop.
To explain how long ago the Big Bang happened cannot be proved currently by using the Scientific Method because we cannot repeat and measure the process. Likewise the theory of evolution of species has not been proven using the Scientific Method because the process of the evolution of species has never been observed. The fact that all the experiments that have been carried out to try to prove it have failed could be seen as demonstrating that the theory is incorrect.
In Darwin’s day the most common secular approach was to believe the universe had always existed. Then science as pioneered by Einstein eventually had to admit it had a beginning. In trying to calculate how long ago the beginning was many assumptions are made that cannot be proved using the Scientific Method. They are accepted just because secularists like the results they produce because they fit in with their preferred belief system.
Hijacked Science
Most people never examine the fundamentals of the absorbed belief system they gained in their early years. So if you absorbed a secularist belief system in your youth then you will interpret all your observations according to this belief system until you realise there is evidence that contradicts it. However for many that is not likely to happen because currently society’s scientific establishments and media only present evidence from the perspective of a secular belief system.
Scientists with evolutionist convictions now administer the scientific world and use this to promote their underlying secular belief system. The trouble for them is that they have not been able, by using the Scientific Method, carry out a single experiment that proves the world was not created. Blatantly clear evidence that suggests that everything we can see, could not occur from currently observable natural processes, but requires the input of design information, is in effect suppressed or mocked by those currently in charge of our scientific institutions and media. They claim their understanding is superior to the creationist but their theories are contradicted by proven scientific facts and principles that we discuss in the next section called Secularism
Circular Reasoning
Secularists interpret scientific evidence according to their belief system. Any evidence that contradicts this is ignored on the presumption that one day they will be able to explain it. That is an incredibly unscientific approach. They are in effect saying “Because we do not believe God exists then the world must be forming itself out of processes that just happen naturally”. So instead of being able to prove their theories through the Scientific Method they assume the big bang and evolution because they currently have not thought of a better alternative.
They assume their belief system is true as they interpret the facts and then claim the facts prove their belief system this is a famous logical fallacy commonly called circular reasoning. They have not proved God does not exist because they assume He does not exist before they start their investigation.
Falsified Science
Many secularists are not analysing the results of scientific experiments to see if their theories are correct. Their objective is primarily to justify their belief in their secular belief system. Many myths are promoted that are fake science. Deceptively presented as though they have been proven using the scientific method.
Secularists falsely claim they have proved their theories about how we came to be. They frequently claim that creationists believe myths that cannot be proved but in fact that is exactly what they are doing themselves. There have always been people saying God does not exist even before science as we know it existed. Despite the Greeks having their famous mythology many of their great thinkers believed theories comparable to evolution. Even King David of Old Testament fame spoke of those who said “There is no God”.
The problem for those who are convinced the theory of evolution explains how animal life developed on earth is that despite massive investments of time and money, in tens of thousands of experiments they have not been able to carry out a single experiment that created a change in an animal that was beneficial to it. If it is not possible to make even a small beneficial change in the laboratory then it is even less likely for it to occur in the wild. It can be argued that this in itself demonstrates that the theory is incorrect. Current genetic engineering does not create new genetic code that never existed before. It combines pieces of already existing genetic code in new arrangements.
Modern evolutionary thought is a development of the work of Charles Darwin. However many of his original assumptions have been shown to have had flawed logic and have been superseded. They were applauded and accepted at the time not because they were good science but because they promoted a secular belief system.
Theory Comparison
Without being able to use the Scientific Method to evaluate the theories of the two major opposing belief systems in the western world all we can do is compare how they fit the facts and events that we can observe. The secularist claims that the universe is explained by a big bang and evolution. The creationist claims that what we see is evidence of an intelligent designer and the Bible believing creationist will go further and believe in a worldwide flood in the days of Noah.
