Flood Stories from Around the World
Established historians seem to dismiss any document containing a flood story as fable or myth. They are throwing the baby away with the bath water. Warning: History is full of examples where the experts of the day got it wrong.
So where did all the water come from. The Bible talks of a water canopy over the earth and that "the windows of heaven were opened" at the time of the flood. Before the flood this canopy would have produced a greenhouse effect that would have caused a mild climate at all latitudes explaining why warm climate animal and plant fossils are found at all latitudes. The Bible also says "all the fountains of the great deep were broken up" which indicates water rising up from within the earth.
There is clearly enough water in the world to do it. The average depth of the oceans below sea level is 4000m (13,000ft). The average height of the land above sea level is 760m (2,500ft). As the land is only 30% of the earth's surface then if the land surface were levelled then the sea would be 2700m (9,000ft) deep.
The water canopy may have even doubled the atmospheric pressure. Today the atmosphere is about 20% oxygen but air bubbles trapped in amber have 30%. Hyperbaric pressure chambers that have enhanced oxygen and increased air pressure promote highly accelerated healing. Open wounds heal over night instead of taking weeks. A spell in one of these chambers can restore memory loss, reverse senility and help stroke victims. A tomato plant grown for two years in such a chamber grew 5m (16ft) tall and yielded 930 tomatoes. This could explain in part why many fossil animals and plants are much larger than what we see alive today. Life span as recorded in the Bible reduced after the flood. There is reasonable evidence to support the suggestion that all life forms are repressed now compared to the past. Devolution is being observed not evolution.
The Bible says the Ark was 300 x 50 x 30 cubits. Moses who wrote this is highly likely to be using the Egyptian cubit of 52.3cm (20.6") so the ark was incredibly large at around 157m (515ft) x 26m (85ft) x 15m (52ft). Modern hydraulics confirms that these proportions are precisely those required to provide optimum stability for such a craft. There would have been plenty of room for two of all the land animals including dinosaurs to be housed on only one of the three floors. The Ark was big enough.
Berose a Chaldean priest who wrote histories of Chaldea and Assyria around 475 B.C., stated that people gathered the bituminous coating from the ark as talismans. The famous first century historian Josephus mentioned that the Ark's remains could be seen in his day.
There is a feature in the Ararat range of mountains considered to be the remains of Noah’s Ark. Here is a brief summary of some of the reasons why:
It has a pointed bow and rounded stern and has the dimensions given in the Bible. Ground penetrating radar scans reveal the features and structure you would expect of the Ark. It has been scientifically proven to be made from petrified wood. It contains man-made metals that do not occur naturally.
Massive anchor stones which were hung from the stern to steady its ride were found near Kazan, a village 15 miles away. An ancient pottery shard was found within a few yards of the ark which has a carving on it that depicts a bird, a fish, and a man with a hammer wearing a head-dress that has the name Noah on it. This suggests in past times the ark was a tourist attraction as it has become today.
The ark is found on Cesnakidag (Cudi Dagi) Mountain, which means Doomsday Mountain. The area has been designated as Noah's Ark National Park and a National Treasure by the Turkish Government since 1987. Beyond doubt this is the remains of a boat. It could well be the most famous boat of all history.

World population growth peaked in 1962/63 at 2.2%/year. In 2022 the population of the world passed 8,000,000,000 and the overall rate of population growth had significantly reduced to less than 1.0%/year.
Some interpret the Bible as saying the flood occurred 2348 BC. Using that date and that there were 8 in Noah's Ark we can calculate that to reach the current world population it would require a growth rate of 0.473%/year. This is completely credible. However it is claimed by evolutionists that man has been around in his present form for around 50,000 years but at only 0.1%/year growth the world population would now be over: 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000. So evolutionary theories once again do not fit in with the facts.
There is clearly no evidence of all these people meanwhile the figures fit perfectly with a worldwide flood around 2348 BC. The evolutionist has to believe mankind stayed primitive for thousands of years at negligible population growth then about 5,000 years ago then he suddenly became civilised and the population started to grow. A true scientist would now use the scientific method to see which theory fits the facts better. But most evolutionists seem to prefer their theory despite the evidence and that is not true science is it?
Before the flood the Bible says that animals did not eat animals but that they all eat vegetation. Note that the vegetation before the flood would have been significantly different to today's. This explains why the animals could live together in the ark and survive. However after the flood, after which animal started eating animal, the conditions on the earth were so much harsher that many of the species could no longer survive. Most of the dinosaur family did not survive but we still have with us today crocodiles, lizards and the amazing Komodo Dragon.
Evolutionists are confident that dinosaurs were on the earth 150 million years ago well before man arrived. They just ignore the fact that footprints of a brontosaurus, an 18m (60ft) long 30 ton dinosaur, has been found alongside those of a man in the Paluxy river bed in Texas.
The skulls of the dinosaurs Corythosaurus, Lambeosaurus and Parasaurolophus have cavities that may have been able to fire hot gases in a way similar to how the Bombardier Beetle does today but on a much greater scale. Some historians just call such stories as fairy tales but these stories are so common from China to Wales and could easily be true. The Loch Ness Monster may well have existed. Like so many thousands of other species since the flood they have become extinct.
It is easy to assume everything has been like it is today for thousands of years. Many historians do this and dismiss many stories containing dragons as myth. The early Britons from whom the modern Welsh are descended have recorded the earliest European accounts of reptilian monsters. Nordic sagas too contain stories of monsters especially the epic Beowulf poem. Two such monsters are mentioned in the book of Job in the Bible.
